The world around us houses more than 7 billion people but far more n umerous are the mammals, the birds, the insects and all the oceanic living creatures that have come before humans and will, undoubtedly outlive the human species on this planet. Share a glimpse of our experiences in the African wild and the images of the natural state of wildlife as we came across it and captured it on camera.

The Big 5 of Africa The 'Big 5' of African Wildlife probably stands up to any of the 'Wonders of the World', apart from the fact that every sighting of the 'Big 5' is different, every time.	African Wildlife To the tourist to this region the attraction of "Other-than-the-Big-5" wildlife sightings and spectacles may be lost in the marketing hype around Lion, Leopard, etc. However, these "Other wildlife" animals can be as spectacular to sight.	Other living creatures Some images of other lifeforms in the region but, be warned, this may not be for the sensitive visitor.
Birds of Africa A collection of birds from across the region.	British Wildlife A recent visit to Britain, including Wales, Loch Ness and Majorca brought some marvellous photographic opportunities. Killer Zebra Infanticide (the killing of a young animal by an adult of the same species, but not necessarily its parent) is a known phenomenon amongst mammals and has been witnessed many times amongst Lion, Baboons, etc. but never recorded in the wild amongst Plains Zebra .
